April Rhodes is the Chief Executive Officer at Spectrum, bringing a wealth of leadership experience. With an extensive educational background in Marriage and Family Therapy, April holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Arizona, a Master of Advanced Study in Marriage and Family Therapy from Arizona State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Family and Human Development, also from Arizona State University. Her career journey has been marked by decades of management and leadership roles, including overseeing acute care diagnostic lab services, managing children clinical services, and accumulating over 15 years of experience in the behavioral health space. April’s leadership at Spectrum is driven by a commitment to providing comprehensive and compassionate care.
Lauren Lauder, MBA, MSW
Lauren Lauder serves as Deputy CEO & Arizona Market President at Spectrum. With an MBA from the University of West Georgia and a Master of Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University, Lauren brings over two decades of experience in health and human services, specializing in program implementation and whole-health care systems. Beyond her professional pursuits, Lauren finds joy in reading, spending time with loved ones, attending concerts, and exploring the outdoors. Her leadership at Spectrum is shaped by her role as an agent of positive change, guiding others through transitions to promote recovery and health.
Frank Gutierrez, holding an Associate’s in Business Finance and CompTIA A+ certification, is the Chief Technology Officer at Spectrum. Frank’s extensive career in healthcare IT began in 2002, where he supported branches of Tenet Healthcare hospitals in Southern California. Self-taught in modern programming languages, servers, systems, networks, and business solutions for healthcare IT, Frank’s expertise grew through managing and supporting the Northern Arizona region of LabCorp sites for over eight years. Frank’s presence extends beyond the tech world. He’s gained recognition on TikTok and Instagram dance videos, accumulating over 30 million views. Away from the digital realm, Frank avoids the ocean and ocean-derived foods, citing the mysteries and dominance it holds over the planet and its species.

Sunshine Dean, MBA, BSN
Sunshine Dean holds a Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Leadership, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, all from Grand Canyon University. As the Chief Business Development Officer and VP of Patient Services at Spectrum, Sunshine brings over 23 years of healthcare experience, coupled with 15 years of leadership expertise, to her current roles. With a diverse background that includes frontline nursing and various administrative roles, Sunshine’s leadership is marked by expertise and compassion. Her dedication to healthcare process improvement and leadership excellence has been a consistent theme throughout her 23-year career. A Prescott native, Sunshine cherishes her wonderful family; her husband, 22-year-old son, poodle, and golden retriever.
Fred Schaffner, armed with a Bachelor’s in business administration and graduate accounting coursework for CPA qualification, currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Spectrum. Fred’s education includes accounting and finance from Creighton University and the University of Nebraska in Omaha. With a diverse career spanning 28 years, Fred’s professional journey ranges from practicing public accounting in Nebraska to financial analysis at Children’s Hospital in Omaha. His experience also extends to holding controller and C.F.O. positions in residential treatment and behavioral health in Arizona. Fred and his wife reside in the mountains and pines of Prescott, Arizona, enjoying weekly hikes in the remote Bradshaw Mountains with their two Weimaraners. They share a love for restoring classic German automobiles and traveling to their adopted second home in a small hamlet of Central-East Italy.
Tahlya Visintainer earned a Juris Doctorate and a B.S. in Management specializing in HR from ASU and currently holds the role of Vice President of Human Resources at Spectrum. Tahlya has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources, with 10 years as the leader of the employee support functions for the organizations she supported. She has a profound passion for people and a commitment to supporting nonprofit organizations in achieving their mission and vision. She joined Spectrum to support expanding access to care for communities across Arizona and is excited about our efforts and partnerships to grow the behavioral health workforce. Tahlya has been a Board Member of the Peoria Education Foundation since 2021. Embracing an active lifestyle, she has been a member of the running community since 2003. Tahlya has been a part of the west valley community since 1979, demonstrating a longstanding commitment to the region and its residents.

Jennifer Martinez, holding an MBA from the University of Arizona, serves as the Vice President of Administration at Spectrum. Jennifer’s position as a leader at Spectrum is rooted in her passion for the organization’s mission, commitment to community well-being. She finds excitement and opportunity in Spectrum’s dynamic environment and values the dedication of the individuals contributing to the organization’s mission.
Jessi Hans, Vice President of Corporate Communications at Spectrum, possesses over two decades of leadership in human services, including roles as an Executive Director in the nonprofit sector and Director of Residential Services. Jessi brings a wealth of experience and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Northwest Missouri State University. Her education in design and years of conveying company mission play a crucial role in shaping the organization’s communications strategy, leveraging her diverse skill set to drive strategic initiatives. Drawn to Spectrum’s bold innovation and access to care model, Jessi was inspired to transition from a Board Member to a leadership role within the organization. Personally, she is passionate about creating beautiful spaces, enjoys reading memoirs, and cherishes quality time with loved ones.
Shawn Hatch, LCSW, CCS, AADC
Shawn Hatch earned a Masters in Social Work from the University of Michigan and currently serves as the Director of Medical Services at Spectrum. With an impressive 40-year career in the behavioral health setting, including 8 years at the executive level, Shawn’s experience spans nearly all levels of healthcare. She has worked in diverse settings such as inpatient psychiatric units, detox, inpatient and residential substance use, and outpatient services. Shawn was raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, fostering a love for the outdoors and water-related activities. When not in cell range, you can find her on Dale Hollow Lake in Tennessee.

Dr. Mario Lippy, Psy.D
Dr. Mario Lippy serves as the Arizona Director of Outpatient Services at Spectrum, holding a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. With a robust 25 years of clinical experience treating clients across the age spectrum, Dr. Lippy’s expertise spans play therapy, infant/toddler mental health, trauma, neuropsychology, substance use, crisis intervention, and clinical assessments. His career also includes 15 years of administrative experience overseeing care in the integrated health marketplace. Dr. Lippy sees working at Spectrum as an opportunity to shape the future of integrated healthcare for the people of Arizona. He was born and raised in Germany to a military family, offering him early insights into the impact of culture and customs on individual development.
Paige LeForte, LCSW
Paige LeForte is the Director of Continuous Care Programs at Spectrum, holding a Master of Social Work from Arizona State University. With a decade of experience in crisis intervention, Paige has made significant contributions to mental health care. Her clinical focus on PTSD treatment for Veterans and First Responders led her to train at the VA and play a key role in starting Spectrum’s Responder 1st program in 2019. She was also one of the first therapist to provide services in the Grand Canyon to the Havasupai Tribe in the same year. Paige is driven by a commitment to access to care, bringing services to the underserved, and advocating for the decriminalization and diversion of mental health from the justice system. Her goal is to effect positive change. Paige is a born and raised Prescott local and comes from a family of first responders, grounding her commitment to serving her community.
Lizzett Enriquez serves as the Executive Assistant at Spectrum, bringing a decade-long background in customer service to her role. With dedication to delivering exceptional client experiences, Lizzett’s skill set is pivotal in effectively communicating with Spectrum’s leadership, staff, vendors, partners, and patients. She completed specialized training in compassionate healthcare and leadership through the Spectrum and Yavapai College cohorts, reinforcing her commitment to facilitating accessible and empathetic services within the healthcare domain. Lizzett’s deepest passions revolve around cherishing moments with her beloved dogs, nurturing strong bonds within her close-knit family—especially her hero, her dad—and fostering deep connections with her siblings. She also embraces the joys of motherhood with her precious baby girl and her sweetheart, Juan.

Chief Randy Taylor
In 2016, Randy was elected to the board of directors for Spectrum Whole Health and currently serves as the president of the board. Randy also serves as the chairman of the board for Yavapai Partners Against Narcotic Trafficking and is on the steering committee for the Yavapai Mental Health Coalition. Randy has been a police professional for 46 year and holds a doctorate in management, a master’s in organizational leadership and a bachelor’s in criminal justice. He is a professor of sociology for Fort Hays State University and teaches criminal justice at Yavapai Community College. He has many publications to his credit, two are in the Library of Congress. In 2018, he co-authored a book entitled, “Ethics for the Public Service Professional”. He is married and had three children; a son recently passed and was a project manager at Sierra Space in Boulder, Colorado. His daughter is a probation officer in Ft. Collins, Colorado and his other son is an officer with the Clarkdale Police Department.
Hailing from Scottsdale, AZ, Rob Olson began his professional journey as a Crew Chief on Chinook helicopters in the US Army after high school. During his military tenure, he obtained his A&P aircraft mechanic’s license. Following Rob’s service, he ventured into international roles, maintaining helicopters in Egypt for nine years and later in Saudi Arabia for Saudi Aramco in the Arabian Gulf. Returning to Scottsdale in 1995, he eventually transitioned to managing his family’s business, Briar Patch Inn, in Sedona, while also engaging in property development projects for various entities. Over the years, Rob has actively served on several boards, including Camp Soaring Eagle and Seven Canyons HOA, and currently holds the position of the longest-serving Board Member and Vice-Chair of Spectrum Healthcare Group. Alongside his endeavors, Rob is married to a beautiful and amazing hard-working lady, who owns Mai Thai on Main restaurant, and is proud father to four incredible children. He enjoys playing golf in his spare time and watching sports. Go Cardinals!
Tom Pender, a distinguished professional with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, has made a profound impact on the engineering and construction landscape. With a background in municipal engineering, he served as a City Engineer for 6 years, showcasing adept budget management and overseeing large-scale projects. His entrepreneurial journey began in 1984 with the founding of his first successful business, which has since flourished under his leadership. As the CEO of a thriving construction firm, an engineering enterprise, and a portfolio of commercial and industrial real estate rentals, Tom has emerged as a notable industry leader. Elected to the Board of Directors for Spectrum Healthcare Group in 2017, where he serves as the Board Treasurer, his strategic insights and financial acumen have been instrumental in furthering the organization’s mission. Tom’s unwavering dedication to excellence continues to shape the engineering, construction, and healthcare sectors, setting a high standard for professionals in the industry.
Dr. Debbie Nixon has spent almost 50 years in healthcare. She is a registered nurse, has a master’s in healthcare administration, and a doctorate in organization and management. Having served as the CEO and the VP of Corporate Development for a healthcare company, she has a deep understanding of all
aspects of the business and the need for growth and business marketing. A priority for Debbie has always been building and maintaining strong business relationships with trust, dedication and high ethics. She is excited to be part of Spectrum and their vision for the future. She is also proud to have been married to her college sweetheart for 52 years and has two great sons, two wonderful daughters and 5 grandchildren!
Dr. Christian Moher
Richard Dehnert has an extensive 14-year career in behavioral health, including pivotal roles in clinical work, community relations, and as a mental health first aid instructor, all in service to VVGC/SHG. He has dedicated himself to serving the mission of Spectrum Healthcare. With his history at Spectrum, along with being a former radio journalist and station owner, he brings a unique blend of communication skills and a profound understanding of the importance of mental health awareness to the organization. His involvement in the community of Clarkdale, AZ, where he served as a Town Council member and Vice Mayor for over a decade, reflects his deep-rooted commitment to fostering a healthier and more resilient society. Additionally, his active engagement in various regional and statewide boards, including the Yavapai County Board of Health and the Arizona Council Board of Directors, has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of healthcare management and community engagement. Personally, his fulfilling family life with wife, Krysta, and their four grown children continues to inspire his dedication to promoting accessible and comprehensive healthcare solutions for all.
Dr. Christian Moher
Christian Moher, a Board-Certified Family Physician based in Tucson, Arizona, has dedicated himself to the integrated medical care approach, harmonizing primary care with behavioral health services. Graduating from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in 1999, he completed his residency in Family Medicine at the Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. With 19 years in Arizona, Dr. Moher actively contributes to the advancement of integrated healthcare across the state and has been instrumental in combatting the opiate epidemic, earning the esteemed Physician of the Year award from the National Council for Behavioral Health in 2018. Balancing his private medical practice with the role of a hospice medical director, he finds joy in family life with his accomplished pediatrician spouse and two university-bound children. Outside of his medical commitments, he finds solace in activities like pickleball, hot yoga, and his newfound passion for playing keyboards in his band, Soul Hive.
